Putting Fans in the Game
We wanted to give fans a way to be part in their favorite games, so we created an open casting call for community voice talent. I worked with our legal and talent teams to create the rules and framework for the contest, which was available to people in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand. It was then later expanded to German and French-speaking audiences.
The original contest in 2014 received more than 2,000 entries, and a 2016 edition received more than 16,000.
My team also created the promotional plan and materials for both contests, and helped sort entries and select finalists. You can view the announce video for the 2016 contest below, which I wrote, edited, and co-directed.
